Advocacy visit to the NAPTIP in Cross River State. We came to know where their office is located to inform our women and girls so that they can be able to come and report anytime they face GBV.
We were informed that VAPP Act hasn’t been passed into law. However, that doesn’t stop them from attending to us. They promised to use another alternative Act to fight for the right of women.
We got a positive response from NAPTIP and they sincerely agreed to work with DWAI.
