Who we are
Deaf Women Aloud Initiative (DWAI) is a registered Non-Governmental Organization registered under the Corporate and Affair Commission, Federal republic of Nigeria.
What we do
Deaf Women & Ladies appear to be the most vulnerable group in Nigeria and many other African countries. DWAI aims to use it platform to voice out against these injustice and fight for their rights through its numerous Initiatives
Our Projects
DWAI through its partnership with other sister NGOs have executed a number of projects. this include successfully touching lives of Deaf Ladies in areas of skill aquistion, Sexual reproductive rights awareness program.
Area of Focus
DWAI Area of Focus is largely in the affairs of Deaf Women and Ladies in Nigeria. Our recent project includes improved access to Primary health care for deaf Ladies and provision of interpreters for ease of communication
